Next was the Vistadome train ride back to Cusco. I enjoyed my "small snack."
And going back to my shopping from Saturday, here are my purchases.
Tuesday was the day after I got back from Machu Picchu. I didn't do too much. Had my private class in the morning, a delicious potato, cheese, and egg bake for lunch, group class in the afternoon, and chicken, veggies, and rice for dinner. The girl in my house who had been in the hospital because of an amoeba finally returned.
Yesterday was a bit interesting. It started out regularly, class, delicious lunch of minestrone soup with many different vegetables, and then my group class. Afterwards, I went to a British pub for trivia. I had a cheeseburger with fries and a Cusquena beer. It was pretty good.
There were 7 of us on the team. We named ourselfes United States of New Zengland. We had Americans, British, and a New Zealander among us. There were 6 very different topics, but between our two team leaders who probably managed over half the answers by themselves, and the rest of us who contributed when needed (sadly I got the Justin Bieber question correct), we managed to come out first! Our prize was a bottle of wine which had to be dranken there. It was quite good fun.
